Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using InvoiceHound, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Service Description

InvoiceHound is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides invoicing, payment processing, and business management tools. We offer a subscription-based service to help you create, send, and track invoices professionally.

Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan: $0/month - Limited to 5 invoices per month and 3 clients maximum
• Pro Plan: $20/month or $200/year - Unlimited invoices, unlimited clients, and all premium features

All prices are in US dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

14-Day Free Trial

New Pro Plan subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. After the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin unless you cancel before the trial expires.

Billing and Payment

Subscription fees are billed:

• Monthly subscriptions are billed every month on the date you subscribed
• Annual subscriptions are billed once per year on the date you subscribed
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
• Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan unless you delete your account
• No refunds are provided for partial months or years

Refund Policy

We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase for monthly or annual subscriptions. After 7 days, all fees are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at legal@invoicehound.io with your account details.

User Responsibilities

When using InvoiceHound, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or abuse the service
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the service to send spam or fraudulent invoices

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Service Provided "As-Is"

InvoiceHound is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. While we strive to provide a high-quality service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceHound and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or content
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Errors, bugs, or technical issues

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of InvoiceHound shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you create and store in InvoiceHound, including invoices, client information, and business records. You can export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF, JSON).

Intellectual Property

InvoiceHound, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our service without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party providers (Stripe for payments, Clerk for authentication). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the performance or availability of third-party services.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a notice in the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with US law.
